Culford is a Methodist boarding and day school, founded as a boys’ school in 1881 but now fully co-educational. The school occupies a 480-acre site, based around an impressive mansion, near the Suffolk town of Bury St Edmunds, just under two hours by train or car from London and under an hour from Stansted airport. Culford provides an excellent all-round education. There is a focus on personalised learning, so that each pupil can achieve his or her academic potential and this is coupled with an outstanding range of sports and other co-curricular activities.
